Startup Fundraising Kit

Readiness check, pitch deck, model, cap table and investor pipeline for your raise

$349.00

Startup Fundraising Kit turns your agent into an organised fundraising partner for a pre-seed, seed or Series A raise. It is for founders who want to run a disciplined process with their own facts, not a generic pitch template.

How it works

The skill starts with a ten-point readiness check and sizes the round from the milestones it must fund. It then works through the narrative, a 24-month financial model, dilution, the pitch deck, investor outreach and diligence, in an order that keeps the deck, the model and your emails consistent. It never invents traction, customers or investor names; missing facts are marked for you to fill.

What you get

  • Readiness scorecard, round plan template and instrument guide (SAFE, note, priced round)
  • Narrative framework and a 14-slide deck outline with speaker notes
  • A self-contained HTML deck with 13 designed slides that prints to a 16:9 PDF from Chrome or Edge
  • Financial model as six linked CSV sheets: assumptions, revenue build, headcount, opex, P&L, cash runway
  • A Python cap table calculator (standard library, JSON in and out) for post- and pre-money SAFEs, notes, option pool top-ups and priced rounds
  • Investor pipeline CRM (CSV), ten email templates, a follow-up cadence and stage codes
  • Data room checklist and a term sheet glossary with "talk to a lawyer" notes
  • Two worked examples: a pre-seed SAFE raise and a seed priced round

Terms and tax notes are US-centric and flagged as such. Not legal, tax or investment advice: have a startup lawyer review instruments and term sheets before you sign. The kit helps you prepare; it cannot promise a raise.

Highlights

  • Raise-readiness scorecard and milestone-based round sizing
  • Slide-by-slide deck outline plus a printable single-file HTML deck
  • Six-sheet CSV financial model with every formula described
  • Cap table calculator for SAFEs, notes, option pool and priced rounds
  • Investor CRM, 10 email templates, follow-up cadence, data room list

Example

What does this SAFE do to us?
You

We have $250k of SAFEs at a $6M post-money cap and want to raise $1.2M more at $10M. Each founder has 4M shares, 150k options granted, 850k pool. What do we own after?

Agent + skill
Ran scripts/cap_table.py (no priced round, SAFEs converted at their caps):

| Holder | Before | After |
|---|---:|---:|
| Founder 1 | 44.44% | 37.26% |
| Founder 2 | 44.44% | 37.26% |
| Granted options | 1.67% | 1.40% |
| Unissued pool | 9.44% | 7.92% |
| 2026 angel SAFEs | - | 4.17% |
| New SAFEs | - | 12.00% |
| Founders combined | 88.89% | 74.52% |

Each post-money SAFE buys roughly amount / cap ($250k / $6M = 4.17%, $1.2M / $10M = 12%), and the founders absorb all of it until the priced round. At a $12M cap the new SAFEs take 10.00% and the founders keep 76.30% combined.

Planning aid only, not legal, tax or investment advice. Your SAFE documents and counsel determine the actual conversion.
Are we ready to raise?
You

Two founders, 9 paying customers at about $700/month, $140k in the bank, burning $22k a month. No deck yet. Should we start pitching next week?

Agent + skill
## Raise readiness - Ready with fixes (13/20)

| Dimension | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Problem clarity | 2 | Named user, rejected pay apps delay cash by weeks |
| Evidence for stage | 2 | 9 paying customers, 3 months of billing |
| Team fit | 2 | CEO did this job for 11 years |
| Market | 1 | No bottom-up estimate yet |
| Business model | 2 | Customers pay about $700/month |
| Use of funds | 1 | Hiring wishlist, milestones not costed |
| Materials | 0 | No deck or model |
| Hygiene | 1 | One contractor without IP assignment |
| Pipeline | 1 | 25 names, few warm paths |
| Runway | 1 | About 6 months |

Top fixes before outreach (about two weeks):
1. Signed IP assignment from the freelance designer
2. 24-month model with milestones costed
3. Bottom-up market slide (source for the customer count still needed)
4. Deck draft and two practice pitches

Draft round plan: $1.0M-1.5M post-money SAFE, aiming for 40 customers and a live integration by month 12.
Term sheet walkthrough
You

Here's our seed term sheet: $16M pre with a 10% post-closing pool in the pre-money, 1x non-participating, budget approval in the protective provisions, founders re-vest over 4 years. What should we ask our lawyer?

Agent + skill
| Term | Plain meaning | Common at seed? | Question for counsel |
|---|---|---|---|
| $16M pre, 10% pool in pre | With your SAFEs converting, existing holders' stake is valued at about $13.3M at the round price | Pool-in-pre is common; size is negotiable | Can the pool be 8% based on our hiring plan? (model: founders 58.53% -> 60.29%) |
| 1x non-participating | Investors take their money back or convert, not both | Commonly seen | Any cumulative dividends elsewhere? |
| Budget approval veto | Lead can block the operating budget | Less usual: operational control | Can it sit with the board instead? |
| Re-vest 4 years, no credit | Your existing shares become unvested again | Credit for time served is often negotiated | Credit for 20 months worked; double-trigger acceleration |

Flagged for counsel: budget veto and re-vesting without credit.

Planning aid only, not legal advice. Have your startup lawyer review the term sheet and the final documents.
