AI Short Drama Studio
Micro-drama production kit: series bible to release, with Seedance and H3 prompt packs
For creators and small studios making vertical short dramas (micro-dramas) with AI video.
A micro-drama needs two things AI tools don't give you by default: a hook economy (open on conflict, turn at least once a minute, end every episode on a cliffhanger) and continuity across dozens of separately generated clips. This skill turns your agent into a showrunner and production supervisor that handles both, stage by stage.
- Development: series bible, character lock sheets (three fixed visual identifiers, a lock line, wardrobe states, reference-image plan, voice lock), location sheets with screen-direction anchors, and a season outline with a question ledger and rotating cliffhanger types.
- Episodes: a machine-readable script format. The included stdlib Python script times every shot from its word count, packs shots into clips that fit Seedance 2.5 (4-30 s), Seedance 2.0 or MiniMax H3 (4-15 s), outputs whole-second shot ranges, and warns when the opening hook, hook spacing, cliffhanger or dialogue load is off.
- Prompts: clip-by-clip prompt-pack templates for Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 and for H3 (Director's Brief and Structured), with bindings, verbatim lock lines and sound notation.
- Finishing: voice and dialogue sheet, edit decision list, captions and safe-zone notes, and a release checklist that flags platform rules to verify.
Included: SKILL.md, 5 playbooks, 11 templates, the script, and 2 worked examples (a photoreal revenge-romance pilot and an anime fantasy mid-season episode). Model facts were checked in October 2026. Generation results vary, so budget retries; the kit improves your odds and your consistency, it doesn't guarantee a take or an audience.

Example
Vertical revenge romance in a luxury hotel: a night auditor whose father was framed, and the family's heir. One-minute episodes, I use Seedance 2.5.
Logline: When a hotel night auditor finds her dead father's signature on a ledger dated after his funeral, she accepts a fake engagement with the heir who may have forged it. Look line (verbatim in every prompt): Glossy night-time hotel drama: deep blacks, warm brass and amber practicals, cool blue spill from windows, 35mm feel, shallow depth of field, fine grain. MARA lock line: Mara Quinn, late 20s, slim, copper-red hair in a low bun pierced by a pencil, thin scar through left eyebrow, brass key on black cord. | EP | Cold open | Mid turn | Cliffhanger (type) | |01|her father's signature, dated after his funeral|Julian already knows|"She's my fiancée." (declaration)| |02|"Then you will join us for dinner."|it's a contract, not a romance|the witness signature is her father's (reveal image)| Next: generate 8 reference images, test the EP01 cliffhanger clip first.

Write the EP07 cliffhanger clip for MiniMax H3 in the Hailuo app. Anime style; Ashe gives Ren her memory back and loses his own.
10s, 9:16. 2D cel-shaded anime, clean line art, soft painterly backgrounds, warm lantern glow against cool blue shadows. References: Image 1 = Ren's face; Image 2 = Ren's outfit (burned left sleeve, bandaged forearm); Image 3 = Ashe's face and black coat; Image 4 = archive steps at dusk. Shot 1 (0-4s): close-up on their hands, static. Ashe places a small glowing paper lantern into Ren's cupped hands. Dialogue: Ashe (young man, low even voice, warm) in English, during Shot 1: "This belongs to you." Shot 2 (4-7s): close-up of Ren, slow push-in. A thread of golden light rises into her eyes; she gasps. Shot 3 (7-10s): medium close-up of Ashe, static. He blinks at her, polite and empty. Dialogue: Ashe, during Shot 3: "I'm sorry. Have we met?" Music: a gentle piano phrase from 4s that stops dead on "met?".
